Tipsy Team

Hello we are Liv and Fred, we founded this venture after meeting while working at Touchays. During our time there, we discovered a shared passion for creating seamless, memorable events and loved being part of the process from start to finish.

Inspired by the idea of doing something of our own, we envisioned bringing exceptional bars to any location. That’s when I stumbled upon Tipsy—an old, forgotten horse box tucked away at the bottom of a garden. I instantly knew she had potential.

Over the next eight months, Fred and I dedicated ourselves to restoring Tipsy into what she is today. We handled most of the work ourselves (with a little help!), and we’re incredibly grateful to our amazing families and friends who supported us every step of the way.

Liv

I’ve been in love with weddings since I was 11 years old.  Yes, really! What started as helping out behind the scenes of Mum’s (Touchays and now the Truffle Pig) business quickly turned into a full-blown passion (and, let’s be honest, a bit of an obsession). From the excitement of planning to the magic of the big day, I live for every moment, the spreadsheets and the sparkle.

There’s something so special about being part of a couple’s journey and helping bring their vision to life, whether that’s curating the perfect drinks menu, styling the setup, or making sure every little detail is just right. I thrive on the buzz, the joy, and those unforgettable “we did it!” moments.

Weddings aren’t just what I do – they’re in my blood. And nothing makes me happier than pouring some fun, flair, and fizz into someone’s best day ever.  After 11 years (what is it about 11! in the hospitality world, I decided to give our passion for events a fresh set of hooves. Tipsy Events began as a dream to create something more personal, playful, and unique than your average mobile bar and elevate your drinks to a new all-time high.

I joined Liv and the team at Touchays and quickly fell in love with the process of creating and delivering one of the most important days in someone’s life—their wedding day. There’s something incredibly rewarding about being part of such a personal and joyful occasion, and I knew right away that this was the path I wanted to follow.

Before my time with Touchays, I worked in pubs and restaurants behind the bar, which gave me a strong understanding of people and their needs. It taught me how to read the room, communicate clearly, and deliver great service—skills that have been invaluable in the events industry.

Outside of work, I’ve always had a passion for tennis, both playing and coaching. Teaching tennis helped me build strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine care for others’ development and enjoyment. That same dedication now drives my approach to every event we plan—I care deeply about making sure our clients feel heard, valued, and excited every step of the way.

When Liv suggested we create something of our own—something that put customer satisfaction and unforgettable experiences at the heart of it all—I didn’t hesitate. I was all in. That’s how Tipsy was born.

Throughout the process of designing, restoring, and bringing Tipsy to life, I’ve learned a huge amount—from practical craftsmanship to creative styling and project management. Every step has been a chance to grow, refine my skills, and pour energy into something we truly believe in.
